IWS worked in partnership with the Dahlin Architecture firm and McKinley Partners to deliver precision structural steel and architectural metalwork on this project, The Glass House at One Lake, which integrates modern design with high-performance fabrication to support a clean, transparent architectural aesthetic.
Sited upon the entry to the One Lake Master Planned Community in Fairfield, CA, the glass house overlooks the end of a newly constructed community lake. This contemporary building houses a vibrant café serving coffee, breakfast, and lunch, and features a welcome center for future residents to learn about and experience the community’s lifestyle.
Conceived by Dahlin Architecture as a welcoming landmark for visitors and residents of the master-planned community One Lake, the Glass House project comprises 3,167 sq ft of building area and serves as an iconic hub for community engagement and social exchange.
